Profile Changes Don't Stick? Help Group

Profile changes don't stick?

Kris, I've tried to update my profile and the update won't stick. I still see the old "about me" and it doesn't change even though I have clicked the "save changes" Can you help?
Love some of the new features, just wish I had more time to explore. Also, noticed that the "you might like feature" keeps the same 3 recipes up as a suggestion....is that going to change or will the same top three load when you visit a recipe? The "stumble" feature doesn't seem to go very far. :-D

Thanks...I'm on a loaner computer and using IE8. I've logged off and back on and still no change. I wonder if the security settings on the pc are causing the issue? I can see my changes but they don't "save". Hmmmm.

you can see them as you're typing them, but once you hit "save" they are no longer saving? Is this in your profile text? What are you trying to change?

I thought it was IE6 that was giving them the most trouble, but I could be wrong...

Yep, I edit my profile "about me" I can see the changes and then when I hit "save" it reverts back to the old profile. So, I am puzzled.

I just tried mine(fixed a typo ;), and it worked fine... have you tried editing anything else, like a recipe, to see if it's ANY editing or if it's only profile related?

I can't edit my profile either! I have IE8 also, and never had a problem with it before.

Just tested this quickly on IE7/IE8 and it worked. This means it will take some nitty gritty de-bugging on our part.

When you click save, does the screen jump up to the top of the page and your about details section is hidden again?
