Made for IMI2's March 2019 "Irish or Green" challenge. I made this recipe for the "Green" part of the challenge.

There is nothing wrong with the recipe however I did not care for the taste or consistency at all. I'm choosing to only review it here because I don't want to give a recipe a bad review based on my taste.
To me it tasted like "blahhh, light green mayonnaise" and the consistency was too thick to drizzle as a dressing.
Looking at other avocado dressings the recipe is kinda standard. I didn't want to even try to "doctor" it up I hated it that much and just knew nothing I would do would change that.
Sorry … this one was not for me.

I'm glad you did review it Linda as it is a recipe that I might have tried but I'm not in to Blah light green mayo either. :) If the recipe is pretty much standard then I consider myself warned off and I won't bother giving such a recipe a try. There's a lot of yummy salad dressings in the world. One does not need to settle. :)

Nice pic, Linda. The reason why we have a review group is so that people will know about a recipe. Linking it and rating it is what it is all about. Better knowing peoples experiences with a recipe which is why this group exists

Too bad it was blah! I make something similar but with green onions, garlic and fresh dill. I use to make it at the Grainery, a Café I worked at. We served it on our spinach salad (spinach, bean sprouts and mushrooms topped with sunflower seeds).
