Cheeseburger Soup

I've been on a soup kick lately. I could eat soup everyday. I'm trying new recipes for soups and found this one on Pinterest. It's a popular recipe because I've found the same recipe on many other sites, including this one, so who knows where and when it originated. I know this is not Chefmeow's original recipe but still thought I'd take a picture, review, and let everyone know how great this soup is.
I didn't use the sour cream or basil, basil and cheeseburger ??? nahh.

That looks most delicious Linda. I`m not one for sour cream myself. I guess the basil would have just seasoned the hamburg a bit. The ingredient I thought was the most `different` from a cheeseburger perspective was the carrot. I join you in the `Soup Everyday Club`. :) Lovely photo!

Now that I think about carrot is not part of a cheeseburgers makeup either. LOL! But I guess because it's soup it's added and too just enough to make it pretty.

Wow, that looks amazing Linda!! I've made a cheeseburger soup once before, I think it was Keni's recipe? Anyway, bookmarking, I know my family will love this!

Awesome photo, LindaLMT! Looks delicious! I like thick, cheesy soups. The basil does seem out of place, doesn't it?

It looks great Linda, lovely photo!
I've made this exact soup from another site as I remember the basil. I always add a little bit of ketchup and mustard while making it, sounds strange but it really tastes like a hamburger that way. And I like to add a little chopped pickle and bacon to my bowl. ;)
