Chocolate Raspberry Banana Bread Pudding

Man I have struggled with this for two days. I hate giving bad reviews but for us this recipe just did not work at all. I am feeling that an ingredient is missing and some instructions also missed. ie maybe the raspberries should be sliced or mashed like the bananas. I did not enjoy the texture and even baked it some more which did not help. flavour was not there either like it was missing something ie sugar. I feel so bad I am almost in tears now.

Aww...Nadine, don't feel bad b/c you didn't like something. It is good to know about things like that, so other people can decide for themselves if they want to try it or not. Which is why we have reviews on recipes. I have made many recipes from GR that were not up to par or missing some important instructions. I don't like wasting food and some recipes I have made have unfortunately ended up in the garbage b/c they couldn't be saved. It is better, to be honest when reviewing a recipe as long as it is not being cruel about it. IMHO.

Darn, it's always tough when you want a recipe to work out SO bad and it just doesn't :( I'm sorry, but it does happen every once in a while. I think there has been only 2 or 3 things I've made that I just ended up throwing out. Was it at least edible? Maybe you can just drown it in ice cream, that should help!

Don't feel bad about leaving a less than 5 star review. I take reviews into consideration when considering a new recipe and appreciate people's honest opinions. I have a similar review problem. I tried a new recipe recently for a dish I hadn't made in *years*. It came out perfectly, but neither my husband nor I enjoyed this previously favorite dish. All I can think of is, I guess our tastes have changed over the years. I didn't review it because it's not the recipe's fault our tastes have changed and I don't want to leave a bad review for something that others have obviously enjoyed. Does that sound as clear as mud?
