    Sour Cream Banana Bread

When I was growing up my mom made banana bread with bananas that were not being eaten up. These were days before smoothies were even a thing.
My review: Delightfully Delicious!! Love this recipe, it seems lighter and fluffier than most recipes, not as heavy and dense. I used half the sugar which was plenty sweet enough for my taste and used pecans instead of walnuts. This is now going to be my 'go-to' banana bread recipe!

What a great photo Linda! I love all those pecans on top!!!! If I'd have guessed, I would have thought that the sour cream would make the Banana bread more rich? I don't know that I've had a light and fluffy banana bread. It sounds wonderful!

Great photo Linda! I love the whole pecans on top too! The texture looks really nice and airy, that's probably due to the baking powder. Usually, just baking soda is added to quick breads. I love sour cream banana bread, I must try this recipe next time! :)

I made this last week and it was absolutely delicious! I halved the recipe and made them into muffins. (The muffins took around 25 minutes to bake). They were light and fluffy like Linda said; yet still moist and filling. A keeper recipe for sure!

Thank you girls. So glad you made them too Shona and enjoyed them. I didn't think I would eat the whole loaf but I did.
