Had guests for dinner on Sunday night. I`m in the process of cleaning out my freezer and wanted to do something with a bag of frozen strawberries. I had this recipe bookmarked to use during last month`s IMI11 Challenge but never got around to getting it made.

Strawberry Sauce For Ice Cream

It`s obviously an easy recipe and for sure, fresh strawberries would be superior to the frozen ones for this, but the vanilla was a really nice addition and highlighted the berries really nicely. I also didn`t mash the berries.

It was very yummy over ice cream. :)
