The Best White Bread Or Rolls From A Bread Machine

I made this on Saturday and it is a great bread recipe. Love the texture and flavour. It is actually the best white bread that I got from my machine in a long time. Will be making again.

Ml2c I was thinking the same thing but Saturday was a bake day for me. LOL first time in a long time and I needed the mixer of other things on my list.

Hi Pointsevenout; The bread machine on basic white takes a little of 4 hours for the two rises and bake. So I can see what you are saying about it if your doing by hand.

Yes I did it by hand. And figured out that the sugar is what caused the longer rise times. But it does improve the flavor by extending out the rise time.

Hi Made this yesterday. I did not have any white sugar so sub with 1/4 cup of slightly packed brown sugar. Worked fantastic and great flavour.
