    6 Hour Chicken
It was cloudy and cool here today so I decided to try this one. My water disappeared after one half hour so there was nothing to baste the chicken with until about three hours of cooking. That may be because of my huge roasting pan, I guess. Nice and crispy skin! I made this up to have frozen chicken meat on had but I had a couple of drumsticks for dinner. I roast breast side down so gravity makes the juices head to the white meat. I don't know that it really works. Just my way to do it.
I put a couple of other pictures on the recipe.

That is one huge roasting pan lol! That chicken looks miniscule in it! I for some reason would have thought this would have been over cooked, but so glad it came out perfect! I'm always open to new ways of cooking a whole chicken. Thanks for showing us and awesome pictures!!
