Applause to you Keni. It is really tough to plunge out there and take the time to make something you don't think you'll even like. I've must admit I've never gotten the "why" of fruit soups. After your very good experience with this maybe I'll leave my GIGANTIC comfort zone and try out a cold melon soup. They were all the rage for a while. I just can't quite picture A. fruit soup or B. COLD soup. But so many can't be wrong... right?

Thanks, Otterpond! :) I'm really not a picky eater at all :) I love food and I enjoy trying new things and I'm not really intimidated by much(as long as we don't discuss pastries...grrr! ;).... but there are a few things I'm just not fond of and I just sorta skim over. I know I'm not fond, cus I've tried them... but, like with this soup, I am gonna test myself often to try and make sure I don't miss anything new that I might enjoy.

I am still gonna stay away from certain things because I just don't want them in my diet for various reasons... canned cream soups are one example, but most canned veggies also, as well as all the processed cheeses, etc. Oh, and "fat free" stuff... unless it's naturally fat free... I choose calories over chemicals :)

Oh...and, i don't like melon soups! hehehe... I do believe the cream in this Apple Soup is the clincher... it was just tasty :)
