So I had a what I thought to be a good size medium white potato. I threw it in the microwave on high 6 minutes as the recipe states...it came out completely cooked! Even though the recipe didn't state the type of potato maybe she used a russet? Would that have cooked slower than a white potato? Maybe I misjudged what a medium potato is? I was able to somewhat grate it but I would say it turned out more like mashed potatoes lol! It was really no biggie though, I still just followed the directions. It was a little hard to do the flipping, but I managed and this came out so tasty, there is no way I can deduct points for the potato cooking, that could have been my fault. I ate every bite and it was delicious! Bacon for the ham would be good too :) Oh, used white cheddar cheese and green olives.

Well, that certainly is a different recipe! Interesting group of ingredients. I think 6 minutes probably would cook a potato in a microwave. I think it would in mine. It probably depends on the wattage. Maybe that recipe was created back in the day of less powerful microwaves or something. At least it tasted good! :-)

I don't have any idea what wattage my microwave is! I'm sure it says it on there somewhere. I was unsure of these ingredients together but they worked very well...it was very good :)
