Corn Chowder With Cheese

  I had some potatoes about to turn and some fresh ears of corn to use up so this was exactly what I was looking for! I used fresh sage and left out the white wine because I didn't have it. Since I was using fresh corn I added it with the potatoes just to make sure it would get cooked through instead of right at the end. I topped this flavorful soup with some crumbled bacon. Very good!
