  Definitely has a tart bite to it. Glad all that sugar is in it. Tastes great with a lot of butter. Mother had to use a packet of sweet and low to tame the tart.
  Made a pic.
  The batter is very thick. Almost made me think there was a problem with the recipe but it baked up just fine. I can see why wax paper was used.
  Was almost tempted to bake it up in one pan but relented and made it per instructions.
