    Easiest Ciabatta Bread
Definitely easy. I started this last night when I got home. I took pso's advice he had (thank you, pso) given me and mixed the salt in with the flour. Mine set for more than 12 hours - more like 15 - because its Saturday and I slept in today. :) When I plopped the dough onto the parchment paper, it spread right into the shape in the picture. I didn't do a thing but put on the olive oil, herbs and garlic powder. Good stuff. I need to find a recipe for a sandwich using ciabatta because this would be perfect for a sandwich. Had three pieces for my breakfast. Grabbed MrP's idea of dating my comments (thanks, MrP :D).

I dont know if I have had Ciabatta before. It sure sounds good and the pic looks really good. What is the purpose of parchment paper? Just to stop from sticking? Would a teflon cookie sheet work?

I like dating comments. Im glad to see you do it too. I've seen Chuckie date a couple as well : )

Thank you, everyone. Its a pretty good bread!
I think, MrP, that if you don't have parchment paper you should grease the cookie sheet. But, get some parchment paper. I've found it does come in handy. Its by the wax paper and plastic wrap where I shop. Its usually on sale this time of year.
