Easy White Bread 2

    Recipe by Johannag: Easy White Bread
    It's all good. Used half the sugar to get the fluffier loaf. Nice flavor.
    Kneaded in the food processor.
    Added the salt in with the flour instead of in the yeast to keep from killing some of the yeast.
    Didn't cut and roll up in two pieces as directed.
    At 30 minutes bake time the loaf only registered 188F internally but is done. I like to shoot for 200F.
    Loaf turned out very supple.
    Put in an 8.5x4.5 loaf pan because using only 3 cups flour is a small loaf.
    Got an unexpected oven spring from the loaf and it sprung up enough to press against the upper oven rack leaving an impression on the top of the loaf. Got big ears on the loaf as a result. Guess I could have used a 9x5 loaf pan after all.
    No pic. Huge ears make loaves look not that comely.
    Had trouble slicing the loaf, it was so soft.
