Recipe by Cheffiona: Fionas Fab Spaghetti Sauce/saved
It's a good chunky sauce. Doubled the recipe.
Sauteed the meat first and drained. Used a little of the rendered fat to saute the onion and garlic. Then put it all together to simmer.
Served over rotini. Plenty of garden tomatoes this time of year.
Couldn't help but to put a pound of 'shrooms in the mix.

I make a lot of red sauces. Kinda surprised there is no salt or sugar.

There is salt and pepper to taste at the bottom of the list of ingredients, second to last.

Wow, that's a lot of tomatoes but I guess the size of them could matter as well. Still, the poster's picture and yours look fabulous, pso, so that many tomatoes must work! Love your bunch in the background there. It looks like you have a nice crop.

That's a LOT of worcestershire sauce! Was it an overwhelming flavor? Since I don't like the stuff, it's probably all I'd taste.

Sauce was fine by me. Salt was lacking.
