    Flaky Pizza Snacks
Easy and fun? Not so much for me! Anyone have a trick to "rolling" out crescent roll dough? I had a heck of a time with these things. The dough stuck to my counter and I couldn't get it to roll. I ended up pressing the dough out. Then when I went to roll the thing up - ugh! It stuck to the counter and the thing started to come apart at the perforations. Thank goodness I could pile stuff on to hide the mess! I got 12 of these because they kept smooshing when I cut them. I ended up shaping them back into circles. They taste good though but I doubt I will put myself through this again! I baked mine for 15 minutes until they got to the color I wanted.

Hi Frankieanne, the only thing I can think of is did you have enough flour on the counter?
I made pie crust today and it didn't work so good for me either, I blame it on the weather🌧

Well, heck, Eastcoaster, I didn't know I could use flour! The recipe didn't say to and I've never rolled out crescent rolls - at least that I can remember. Thank you for the tip!
Blaming the weather happens a lot around here. :-P

Well, by looking at your pic, doesn't look like you had any trouble at all:-D I agree, maybe a little flour would help with the sticking! That would have been a good thing to list in the instructions of this recipe ..crescent roll dough is hard enough (for me anyway) to make into crescent rolls! They look divine Frankieanne!

Isn't it the most annoying thing when dough sticks?! I roll my sugar cookie dough between two pieces of parchment paper and that works great! I bet it would work for your crescent dough, too. Maybe rub just a little flour over them first for extra insurance. The pizzas look great!

Those look SO GOOD! I'd never had imagined you had trouble with the dough by those beautiful pics.! Yes, any dough would need a floured surface to roll out on...the recipe really should have stated that. I always add stuff into pizza sauce, like you said, Italian seasoning, maybe some garlic powder, so I can see you missing that :)

Thank you, everyone. I definitely thinks it needs flour to get the dough rolled out. They re-heated nice for breakfast.
