Golden Sweet Cornbread

I made this a while back and forgot to add it to the IMI. So here it is. this is the first time I ever made cornbread. I dont know why I never have., but am very glad I finally did. This was so good. I mixed up some homey butter to add on top. I have actually made it twice. My kids also loved it. Thanks GK for a great recipe

Now, since what goes around comes around, I have a question for you. I'm not familiar with homey butter. The only thing I can think of is that maybe you milked a cow, and churned the butter at home??? :P Could I be right, er, correct?

OK, so its known that I am not a cook and now also not a spelling/typing wiz. But I am learning both : )

Yep. Could very well work out that way, Frankieanne. I get ammo from mr p but don't waste all of it right away...always keep some in reserve for a rainy day. ;) Ummm...and speaking of a rainy day, today's the day. Maybe I'll go dig some up while the ground is soft ;)

I forgot to say, however, that your cornbread pictures look wonderful, Mr. P! Nice job. It looks perfectly done. I love cornbread, so I'm going to try this one out next time I make cornbread.

Thanks DT. I kinda liked my "homey butter" :) When I saw "someone" comment on my typing/spelling error I was going to edit it. But then I decided I liked it : )
