Hazelnut Fantasy Fudge

Recipe by Peetabear: Hazelnut Fantasy Fudge
It's a good fudge even if I did screw it up.
Boiled it up on high instead of medium and to a temp of 260F. Was going to chuck it and start over but remembered I could just add water and reboil the sugar solution. So that's what I did. Fudge set up nicely. Cut it up in serving sizes then it in wax paper and foil. Into a gallon freezer bag it goes with the air sucked out and popped into the freezer. It's all ready for the Christmas dinner party.
Has a good firm texture but still being soft, as in, not being chunky when bitten, and not soft as in stretchy. It will break when bent. So I guess I salvaged the recipe from my failing eyes.
Used the harvest from our Hazelnut trees.
Sorry, no pic. Just plain forgot.
Made 2 1/2 dozen with an additional half dozen sampled while rolling them up.

Fudge was absolutely destroyed at the Christmas dinner. Three pieces left as I was boxing everything up after the dinner to go back in the car. Left those three pieces on the table. Packed the car and came back in the building. Those three pieces were gone.
