Poster said this was sweet and I didn't find it to be so. I'm kinda into sweeter breads and this wasn't sweet to me at all. Still a very nice bread that will make some great toast for my breakfasts this week.

I guess just because the poster said "sweet" I was expecting more sweet. Its kinda sweet, ml2c. Its still very good.

Well, MrP, when I make it (writing OJ on the grocery list!) I will definitely be using butter. :) I'm guessing that recipe was written back in the day when everyone thought butter was "bad" for you. :-P

I always use butter in all my baking. I can't even remember the last time I've had margarine in my house lol! That marmalade bread sounds yum! My daughter would love a slice of that in the mornings with butter!
