How to make it

  • BEAT TOGETHER, MARGARINE AND SUGAR UNTIL LIGHT AND FLUFFY.
  • ADD EGGS, ONE AT A TIME, MIXING WELL., BLEND IN MARMALADE; SET ASIDE.
  • COMBINE FLOUR, BAKING POWDER, BAKING SODA, AND SALT.
  • ADD DRY INGREDIENTS TO MARGARINE MIXTURE ALTERNATELY WITH ORANGE JUICE; STIR IN NUTS.
  • POUR INTO A GREASED AND FLOURED 9 X 5 LOAF PAN.
  • BAKE AT 350 DEGREES FOR ABOUT ONE HOUR, OR UNTIL TOOTHPICK TESTS CLEAN.
  • COOL 15 MINUTES BEFORE REMOVING FROM PAN
  • MAKES ONE LOAF......

    I finally got around to making this. A very delicious, orangey loaf! I didn't add nuts and my loaf took 70 minutes before it tested done. It kind of crumbled when I sliced it so maybe its best sliced when totally cool. Very good and I added my pictures. More in IMI
