I Need Appy's

Can you list the most amazing appetizers you've tried from this site?

Don't forget to post them also, so I can find them.

I'm starting to get together recipes for a party on Sept.27th. Thank you all so much!

Posted a great shrimp appetizer for you.
If you really want to knock them naked, serve my Lemon-rosemary Custard Cakes as an appetizer instead of a dessert.

I love the shrimp appy, but I don't like sweet, lemony recipes...so I won't be making that one. You got anything else? :) Thanks Again!

Lillian - I have a toasted ravioli recipe that I use for an appetizer. But its one I posted. :)

When I need an appetizer, I make cold vegetable pizza (I add cooked crumbled bacon). I haven't posted my recipe as there are some here already. You could do a search. If you can't find one you like, I'll post mine.

    Lillian -

I am just going to post this here as there are a few vegetable pizza recipes already posetd here. And, its not really a "recipe." My grandmother wrote this on a card, so I am going to type it word for word in her honor. :) I add about six slices of cooked, crumbled bacon on top of the vegetables.

"2 cans Crescent Rolls. Spread on cookie sheet and pinch ends together. Bake 10 min at 350F. Cool. Beat together until smooth: 12 oz. cream cheese, 1/4 cup mayo, 1/2 tsp. garlic powder and 1/2 tsp seasoned salt. Spread on cooled crust. Top with chopped raw veg - green onions, broccoli, cauliflower, carrots, celery, mushrooms, cucumber, tomato or any of your favorites or what's available. Cut in 2" squares and serve cold."

When I made it, I used broccoli, carrots, green onions, cucumber and the bacon. My guests loved it!

Thanks Frankie! It sounds like something I can customize to our liking! Maybe I'll try tomatoes, onions and bacon.

    Thanks for typing it here!

Yes, the cold veggie pizza Frankie posted is awesome. That's a staple at office parties, church functions, and bunco around here! And so easy to customize. Thanks for posting it Frankie, I had lost my copy, and this one sounds like the one I had. I usually add some Dry Ranch seasoning to the cream cheese mixture, too. Olives - green, kalamata or black; Bell Peppers, and Banana Peppers are good additions, too.

Good idea Sparow...I think I'll try it with the dry ranch dressing also!

I'm so glad I asked all of you for these recipes! :)
