It tastes good and apt to its name it is a salad sandwich, just like egg or mac or tuna, it has that pickle and mayo taste.
I wasn't sure what the milk was for because my meat mixture stuck together well without it but I went ahead and put a couple of glugs of milk in the mix one glug at a time just to be true to the recipe.
It turned out well with good flavor but sure lacked color. Decided to fry a couple of patties up in some butter for color. Worked well but didn't improve the flavor any plus it put the patty on the soft side. Needed soft buns with which to eat. So forget the frying and eat it straight up as a salad sammie.

Good to know. I did use a slice of whole wheat/rye bread to make the bread crumbs. It's not exactly gluten free but it's lower than white bread flour.
