    Heard a few rave reviews of this recipe recently so decided to try it last night.
    Cabbage Slaw
    It was FANTASTIC! I admit to being dubious when I read that you add Ramen noodles (uncooked no less!) to shredded cabbage, but I forged ahead anyway. I pretty much followed the recipe to a "T" with the exception of a few helpful hints from Notyourmomma who recommended I reduce the oil to 1/3 cup and increase the rice vinegar to 1/3 cup which I did, and also that she actually adds 1 of the Ramen flavour packets, (which I did as well and the packet was a spicy one which added a nice heat!). This salad has a wonderful unique flavour and texture. The sauteed sesame seeds and sliced almonds add a real nice nutty flavour as well. I will totally make this again and again and although I hear that the recipe keeps very well in the refrigerator, both my husband and son loved it so much I don't think I'll be able to test that theory as it is going to be gone in a wink.
