So for the mushrooms in this I used Cremini, baby bella's, and button. This is definitely thick and hearty! Tasty too ;) I used the tabasco habernero for the hot sauce which is SUPER hot, but worked great in this. Loved it!!!

OK, I saw baby bellas at the store today. They looked like little portabellas. I guess thats what they are. The others I didnt see. I did see a flat weird looking one. I cant think of the name. I want to say Suzuki but I know thats not it. For now I think Ill stick with regular and portabellas. I will say that I find myself strolling up the veggie isle longer these days trying to read all the labels

hehehe...MP, they ARE lil portobellos, yes! And they are delicious. The lil flat ones mighta been one of the Asian varieties.... maybe shiitake?

Anyway, any mushroom will work in this, and it's STILL one of the most requested of my "regular" soups. Thank you for trying it, luv, and really glad it was enjoyed.
