    A quick easy pasta sauce. Had to add at least 1 tablespoon salt to bring the flavor down from the tangy tomato taste to a deeper savory flavor.

    Used a cubed up meatloaf for the meat. It was one I made a couple of months ago mistakenly using grits instead of cream of wheat. Tried to make it taste like sausage by adding fennel, sage, and Italian seasoning along with the other spec'ed spices.

    Only used 2 cans of tomato puree as another can would not fit in my saute skillet.

    Had an accident with the black pepper so I didn't add any cayenne.

    No picture. Sorry, all came together too fast.

    I like the sauce. Put it over 2 pounds of linguine. Mother had a large plate and was groaning satisfied afterward.
