    Portobello Crostata Con Spinaci E Marinara By: Keni.
    I've been wanting to make this for a while now & so glad I did! Wonderful flavors, textures.. yum yum yum! I did have to make a few adjustments to suit what I had on hand. First, I bought Pillsbury Pizza Dough b/c they didn't have puff pastry. Second, I forgot to pick up eggs so I brushed the dough with olive oil & mixed some "bread dipping mix" along with the garlic powder. Finally, I used shallots instead of red onion. I wasn't sure when to add the lemon juice (sometimes I miss things that are right in front of my face!), so I put in in the cheese mixture. I served it with chicken sausage w/provolone &sun-dried tomatoes and my Marinara Sauce Also, I cooked it on a pizza stone (not previously heated). I highly recommend this!

    This looks so delicious! I love your changes too! I keep a container of bread dipping mix on hand at all times! It comes in so handy, especially when I make fresh bread! =)
