Okay if you have never had figs, try them, they are delicious!! I love when fig season comes around! These are a simple and tasty way to eat them, and a beautiful presentation as well! I forgot the nuts in the picture, and I made my own honey yogurt. I also upped the cinnamon a bit, lowered the cloves a bit, and added a couple grates of fresh nutmeg.

Great pic! This looks awesome! I think it would be fabulous even without the nuts:) Which is probably what I would do. Thanks for the heads up on this one. I bookmarked it to try. Better than a "Fig Newton" any day!

Mmm, honey in yogurt. That sounds so good. Our fig season was about four months ago though! One of my co-workers with a fig tree brought me some fig jam. I should give it a try. I love your picture. Its so pretty.

That's funny Frankie, our season just started a couple weeks ago. My grandmother had a fig tree in her backyard and we would always be making jam.. love the stuff!!

I love the honey Greek yogurt as well, but only had plain Greek, so I added some local honey which was SO GOOD! Definitely cut down the cloves though if your sensitive to them...they can be very strong, and I did probably about 1/4 tsp. and it was plenty for us...
