Ultimate Baked Mac N Cheese With Bacon

This was the first time I ever made a homemade Macaroni and Cheese. It was good comfort food. This is a really nice recipe. I halved it and it made a ton. I didn't add any bacon, ham or chilies to it this first time but can see that that would be a tasty thing to do as well. It was totally yummy. The topping was crisp and brown. Brought some of the leftover's to a friend who was feeling under the weather yesterday and it was well received.
