  Doreen says she can eat this as a meal, and so could I! She didn't add the peppers for her photo, and I left them out too. Just used extra carrots and onions and added a couple of shakes of dried parsley flakes for added color. The allspice was not a pronounced flavor, but added just the right twist to make this a different and delicious rice side, plus it filled my kitchen with a delicious aroma while cooking. Hope everyone who tries this enjoys it as much as I did.
