Texas Chili by bestcooker I made this for the recipe swap.

Made this tonight, It was very good. I did substitute ground turkey for ground beef but the flavers were so strong I really couldn't tell the difference (hubby could). I also added 1 teaspoon of salt.

Bestcooker told me the original recipe called for the meat to soak in beer first, but didn't think it added anything to the recipe so she took it out. I said it's okay I had a beer with the chili so it all worked out in the end. :).
