Wild Rice and Ham from Quiche Wynnebear

    We had this for dinner tonight and it is definitely going into my "Keeper" file - excellent flavor...the only thing I was missing was the mushrooms, and I used gruyere cheese, but neither of those omissions/subs would have affected the original flavor. The red peppers didn't overpower, and wild rice pairs so nicely with ham. I will be making this one again and again. If you're looking for a good crust to use, I highly recommend Jett's Mama's crust -
    I have been using that now for almost a year and that thing holds up to the wettest ingredients without going soggy, and is flakey beyond belief (I'd never seen a prep method like that before, and it seems to work magic every time!).
