  Whenever Mom made bacon for breakfast, I would go out to the garden, pick a perfectly ripened tomato and make myself a BLT with plenty of mayonaise. That's what I ate for breakfast all summer.

Those good old gas stations that for .25cents.. you got a gallon of gas.. windshield washed, water checked... stamps.. you guys remember those? What happened?

  How about the coke machine you put a dime in a turn the top until the little coke bottle lined up. Sitting there in cold water, pull it out and the opener was attached to the machine. Best cokes ever.

  I am just waiting for my tomatoes to ripen. I love going out on Sunday morning and finding a perfect ripe plump tomato, slicing it thin for my BLT (I posted that recipe) and yep lots of mayo. Hot cup of tea, kick back, take a bit, taste the wonderful flavors of the ripe warm tomato mxing with the delicious bacon and lettuce, or no lettuce and mounds of bacon. Just live for those mornings. My as well eat while still here.
