Minty Monday

    Good Morning Everyone.

Amazingly another bright sunny day here, at least to start. No rain for the past 2 days and hoping for a 3rd. It might have rained nearby because I heard lots of rumbling thunder after dinner but we didn't get any.
No clue about dinner just yet. Thinking of grilling steaks with a veggie side and salad. I do have to unpot my mint plant and toss it, it's garbage night tonight. It didn't do great and I'm not using it. Not sure what I want to plant in that pot in it's place.

Today's the BIG day Janet. Travel safe and hope your morning is running smoothly.

Morning Linda. Yum on steak and Hurray on your bright sunny day. A shame about your mint plant.

Almost set to head off. Just have to eat brekkie and pack the cooler. Will touch base again when I get the chance. Have a wonderful day everyone!!!

Nice to hear you have another sunny day ahead, Linda.

Sending safe travels your way, Janet.

Not much happening here today. The sun is starting to peak through but they say there is a risk of a thunderstorm later in the morning. We shall see. I just got off the phone with my BGF. We had a lovely chat. I may or may not do my errands this afternoon depending on my mood. Lol nice to be retired on a Monday eh! We are having chicken parmesan for dinner with steamed fresh beans and new potatoes.

    Wishing everyone a great day!

Morning!! Yay on getting some sunny days Linda! That's crazy that the mint didn't do good Linda. I planted mine once 10 or so years ago and it dies in the Winter and grows back on its own in the Spring lol. Yum on steak, we are having that Wednesday :)

Have a safe trip Janet!!! Hope the drive goes smoothly :)

Hi Joce!! Nice that you had a good chat with your friend. Chicken parm sounds so good!

Kiddos first day of school is today! I'm happy and sad lol. Both starting new schools so it was a bit nerve racking for them.

After I'm done at the gym I'm going to swing by and pick up Michael. We are going back to the stone place and re-looking just to make sure. We have our brick picked out but we still are unsure on the stone. I love the brick so much that if I can't find stone I like I may just go all brick. Will probably grab lunch out somewhere.

Dinner tonight is maple bacon pork loin, Mac & cheese and some sort of veg. Have a great day everyone!

Yum on Chicken Parm Joce. I could so go for that. Do you need the rain? I chatted yesterday with a girlfriend for almost 2.5 hours yesterday. I've know her since grammer school and somehow we find more to talk about than 10 people combined.

My mint is in a pot and with all the rain it got 'buggy' Michelle. Little while flies have made it their home. Good luck to the kids today in their new schools. Did any of their old friends transfer to the new schools? All brick would be nice. What part is brick and what part is stone? Yum on the pork loin!

Hi everyone. Just heading to bed. Reached Sudbury by about 5:30. Ran in to a lot of construction and slow downs. AND!!! I forgot our egg salad sandwiches in the fridge door and didn't pack them in the cooler so we had to stop at Subway for lunch. Argh. Rossport tomorrow and an even longer driving day.
