I have to take Olivia to the airport and we both overslept. She is going to South Bend/Notre Dame for a week. Scott's moms birthday. She had three alarms set.

We aren't up to anything special today. Den is doing the laundry and I think we might have pork chops for dinner tonight. It is still very hot and humid here.

Hi Joce:) UGH on hot & humid..I just cannot handle humid weather..we have more of a dry heat here..sometimes we do get some cloud cover and it gets humid, but not too often...

Just back from the rental that needs a door & opener..I just can't understand why the rentals up here are so hokey..it had accordion doors on the garage! WTH? The house had paint peeling, almost looked like lead paint...the floor in the garage was out of level..so Rick made up an estimate for getting the opening prepped correctly etc. Now I'm cooking some sausages and we'll have poached eggs and toast to go with.. and we're enjoying a glass of Champagne..or 2:-)

Turkey meatloaf and potatoes with gravy, salad for dinner:)

1:30 pm EST. Olivia called, she is still sitting on the tarmac at the airport. There is something wrong with the plane. They put in a replacement part and it was not compatible with the airplane. I got her there at 10:00 a.m. She is crying and very upset. Me, I am just happy they found the malfunction before they were air born. She is flying with Allegiant. They are having them get off the plane now. She is going to the ticket agent to see if she can get another flight.

Olivia got off work at 3:00 am when the bar had last call. She made $276.00 from 5 pm to 2:30 pm. She was exhausted. She had to cut off 12 people for being too intoxicated and they were mostly belligerent. She is grateful for security at Howard Johnson's. She works hard for the money.

Dog is Riley at Pet Pal. Up for adoption, mirror image of Molly. I'm resisting the urge to go get her.

I would love champagne. It has been since New Year's Day, since I last had a glass with Freddie. Very nice.

A skating friend of Olivia's tells me she had a dream about Tyler and Fred. She saw Tyler STANDING TALL next to Fred. She asked "how are you?" and both of them smiled at her. She said Fred looked 20 years younger. I love hearing these stories from those who cared for my family.

I'll wait and see if I have to go pick up my crying daughter. What do they say about well made plans?

Kittens are home, exploring everywhere. Wayne's buddy said they stayed in the bathroom and hissed when his cat walked by. Trouble came out a few times and even rubbed his dog (it loves cats!) but turned into a Halloween cat if it looked at her.

I hope Olivia got on the plane okay this time. I think the news had a report of a plane having boarding problems, but am not sure if it was her's.

Marie, some places around here are cobbled together all sorts of ways. Wayne's buddy has redone a bunch of electrical wiring. We hope he got it all fixed.

Supper is in the oven. Schwann beef and mashed potatoes. Bottle of wine is chilling. I will sleep well tonight.

Back from my Aunt's house with the kids. They swam most the day in the pool. We ate pizza, deviled eggs and had mudslides :)and when my Aunt and Uncle got home we played a game called Apples To Apples. It is a hilarious and fun game! It can be played a couple of different ways where it can be kid friendly or NOT kid friendly, we played it the kid friendly way since Briauna played with us :) We stayed a little later than planned, so I ended up not being able to make dinner and we just stopped at Sonic on the way home. Can you believe that they don't have ANY salads! That's all that I had wanted and I had no idea they didn't have any. Ended up getting a Chicago dog. It was okay. Alright, about to watch an episode of Mystery Diners with Bri, Goodnight everyone :)
