Good Morning Everyone.
It's sunny, warm, and humid today with a warm breeze.

Pest guy is here treating the outside, it's done every 3 months.
New freezer will deliver today sometime between 3 - 7:00 p.m. and I'm looking forward to getting it cold and filled.
Going to make pumpkin pie later and I'll then be set for tomorrow's cooking. Will just need to roast the pork and make the stuffing and gravy and vegetable. I made the cranberry sauce yesterday.
No clue about dinner tonight but I'm feeling the love for some pasta, maybe, or the ravioli soup I didn't have last night. We grilled hotdogs instead. I think that'll be it for hotdogs till the spring/summer.

I'm anxious for that cold front to come Kimmer. Christmas lights are a 'happy place' and so is splurging on some cookies and treats. Nice that you get a fresh cut tree.

Hoping you are 'OK' today Janet. I know you have a lot going on with your mom. (((Hugs))).

I have to out and pick up a form I dropped off at my doctor's yesterday for him to sign and they called and said it was ready for me. The province gives a $1000.00 rebate off my hearing aids and they don't get hit with sales tax either which is a big bonus as well. After that, I need to pick up some Bounty paper towels. Then I think we are pretty much set for things for a bit.I am finally making my butternut squash soup this afternoon. Den chopping the butternut squash for me last night and it is nicely packed in a zip lock bag in the fridge all set to go into the soup pot. I might just have soup and a sandwich for dinner and Den said he wanted a KFC bucket so I think dinner is settled now. We can freeze the leftover KFC and have it for another time.

My throat is holding it's own and I discovered it's somewhat in my ear canal so I flushed that ear with hydrogen peroxide this morning and last night I used some essential oils. Still taking my vitamins and immune support stuff and seem to be doing well. I just don't want it to take hold.

My pumpkin pie is in the oven and I hope it doesn't stick to the plate. I was stupid and filled the pie up and when I slid it in the oven it spilled a little over the edge of the crust. When will I learn??! If it sticks it's not a huge deal because it's just me, DH, and LD eating so it doesn't need to look pretty plated. Taste will be all that matters.
I too won't use KerryGold butter either anymore for pie crust. It made for a soft dough that wasn't easy to work with. I buy KerryGold from Costco so it's what I use. It's cheaper to buy better butter at Costco than it is to buy regular at the grocery store.

It's clouded up and is overcast and now looking like it wants to rain.

Hi everyone. I'm afraid my Mom has taken a turn for the worse and we are half way (almost) to get to her. Hope she's still there by the time we reach her. I did get to talk to her last night and today heard her nurses say that she had a good day.

Your pie sounds like it smells heavenly to me. Lol, I think I could eat a big slice of it right now with whipped cream on top. YUMMY!
