Roaster Oven

    I have been thinken to myself on this question.I hope that someone could help out out on this question.Could I add my lasagna meals in a roaster oven?I want to give it a try but the thing is would I have to add a pan or something in side of the roaster oven?

    Well they make lasagna in slow-cookers/crock-pots so I don't see why not. You'd probably have to just spoon it out as I don't think you could slice it like you would if if was in a pan like a 9x13. But if the lasagna is not too deep, you may be able to slice it into squares. Now if your roaster is large enough to hold another pan I guess you could do it that way so you could remove the pan from the roaster to slice it but it would not be my choice. You must plan on making a BIG batch if you're using your roaster :-)

    I'm just guessing, but yes, I think it would work. I might worry about a hot spot in the roaster if using a glass pan, but if your 9x13 is metal, I don't see a problem. The roaster would act like a mini oven--I think.
