EXERCISE

It is very important to watch what you eat, i.e, # of calories plus limiting saturated fat, sugar, salt, and simple/processed carbs. But from experience, I know, that exercise is the number one way to lose weight, and more importantly, to keep it off (which is where most people have their problem.) I just lost 30 lbs and could not have done it without working out. It's just that simple...you move, you lose!

If you are new to exercise or are having difficulty due to your weight, I suggest starting off slowly with 10-30 minutes of walking...that';s right..walking. Do it everyday, either outside, or on a tread mill or walk around a mall..it doesn't matter where. It only matters that you get into the habit of doing physical activity EVERY DAY! After a few days increase your time by 5 minute increments and in no time you will be walking for an hour. You will feel better and your meatbolism will increase! IT WORKS!!

i know what you say is true,

i read in the book called "potatoes not prozac" that even if you just stand at your gate and walk in a direction for 2 -3 minutes and then return home, it will have a positive effect.

clearly overweight people understand this but don't do it, and it is just not for "lack of motivation" there is other emotional stuff going on here.

i am a living experiment in all this having doubled my weight in 7 years, after having been very slim all my life. Very humbling when i recall my attitude to "fat" people before i gained the weight,

life is a series of lessons lol

love and laughter, peace and joy
