Menus

I think it's safe to assume that tailgating season has started or is in full swing for most of us. So have you tailgated? Would you share your menus? Did your team/player/driver win?

Great idea, dance - how about some input on what YOU'RE cooking or eating, whether it be at a tailgate or a home "game time" party...I know I would love to hear what others are putting together to feast on during America's favorite past-time (well, one of many favorite past-times!). People have already added some fantastic recipes to this group - how about telling us if you made them and what you paired them with? We hope to get a tailgate set up for ND or UofI later in Oct, so it's always nice to hear what others are doing now!

How about for the Super Bowl cuz this is gonna take some planning on our part. We have a menu made up of a recipe potluck. Everyone chooses a recipe NOT YOUR OWN to try and then contribute that one to the menu. And we'll have one big recipe tasting party on Super Bowl Sunday.

Yesterday we die hards tailgated for our season opener...in the rain! Have the people didn't show up, so food was limited, but what was there, was really good! My husband fixed his "special" hamburgers...gotta post that recipe...they are SCRUMPTOUS...and we had homemade potato salad, sausages, chips, and apple pie! Like I said...limited, but what was there was good! Ended up getting our sorry butts kicked up and down the field...I LOVE FOOTBALL!!!

I have got to bring more people into my life who like football as much as I do! It was a pretty decent weekend for Wisconsin ~ not terribly pretty, but I think we'll take it.

For the record - I tend not to watch college football but definitely keep track of how the Badgers are doing. I don't have one favorite NFL team (sorry Packers, I'm not a die-hard) ~ I just want to watch a good football game. :)
