  I have an abundance of blackberries. We have a berry patch in the country where we will retire. We pick them, eat some and freeze the rest. Sometimes I forget I have them in the freezer. I just took out a bag today and am going to bake my blackberry chocolate chip pie w/ buttery crust for a teacher's luncheon tomorrow. It is the best recipe I have found for my blackberries so far (and I will post it after I take a picture). I am looking forward to using so many of these recipes from this group too!
