How to make it

  • Cream Butter and sugars together until light and fluffy.
  • Beat in vanilla and eggs.
  • Add molasses and blend.
  • In another bowl,combine flour,cocoa,cinnamon,ginger,nutmeg,baking powder,and soda.
  • Add dry ingredients to butter mixture alternately with the buttermilk,beating well after each addition.
  • Pour batter into well greased bundt pan.
  • Bake in a 350 degree oven for about 40 minutes(or)until toothpick comes out clean.
  • Cool for 30 minutes,turn out onto rack to cool.
  • Serve with hot applesauce in which red hot candies have been melted into.
