- 1/2 Cup butter shopping list
- 1/2 Cup sugar shopping list
- 1/2 Cup brown sugar shopping list
- 1 teaspoon vanilla shopping list
- 2 Fresh eggs shopping list
- 3/4 Cup molasses shopping list
- 2 Cups flour shopping list
- 1 Tablespoon cocoa shopping list
- 1-1/2 teaspoons cinnamon shopping list
- 1-1/2 teaspoons ginger shopping list
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg shopping list
- 1 teaspoon baking powder shopping list
- 1 teaspoon baking soda shopping list
- 3/4 Cup buttermilk shopping list
How to make it
- Cream Butter and sugars together until light and fluffy.
- Beat in vanilla and eggs.
- Add molasses and blend.
- In another bowl,combine flour,cocoa,cinnamon,ginger,nutmeg,baking powder,and soda.
- Add dry ingredients to butter mixture alternately with the buttermilk,beating well after each addition.
- Pour batter into well greased bundt pan.
- Bake in a 350 degree oven for about 40 minutes(or)until toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool for 30 minutes,turn out onto rack to cool.
- Serve with hot applesauce in which red hot candies have been melted into.
