Greens With Hot Bacon Dressing

- Ingredients: shopping list
- 3 cups torn spinach leaves shopping list
- 3 cups torn romaine lettuce shopping list
- 2 small tomatoes, cut into wedges shopping list
- 1 cup sliced mushrooms shopping list
- 1 medium carrot, shredded shopping list
- 2 slices of bacon, cut into small pieces shopping list
- 3 Tbs. red wine vinegar shopping list
- 1 Tbs water shopping list
- ¼ tsp. dried tarragon, crushed shopping list
- 1/8 tsp. pepper coarsely ground shopping list
- ¼ tsp. Equal or Sweetener ( 1 packet ) shopping list
How to make it
- 1)Combine spinach Romaine, Tomatoes, Mushrooms and Carrot in a large bowl; set aside.
- 2)Cook bacon in a 12-inch skillet until crisp. Carefully stir in vinegar, water, tarragon and pepper. Heat to boiling; remove from heat. Stir in Equal.
- 3)Add spinach mixture to skillet. Toss 30 to 60 seconds or just until greens are wilted. Transfer to serving bowl. Serve immediately.
- Calories per serving: 51, Carbohydrates: 9g, Fat: 1g, Cholesterol; 1mg, Sodium: 74mg
