CLAM FRITTERS

- 1 1/2 dozen clams shopping list
- 1/2 c clam broth shopping list
- 3 eggs beaten shopping list
- 3/8 c milk shopping list
- 1 Tbsp melted butter shopping list
- 1 tsp salt shopping list
- 1/2 tsp pepper shopping list
- 1 1/2 c flour shopping list
- Cooking fat or oil shopping list
- Separate clams from liquid. Split clams, remove dark stomach contents, rinse in cold water and mince as fine as possible. shopping list
- Sift flour, salt and pepper. Add clam liquid, milk and eggs. Mix until smooth, add butter and minced clams. Sauté in heavy frying pan in thin cakes or drop by the tablespoon in deep fryer (about 380 degrees). Cook until golden brown. shopping list

1 question. clams are hard to get here fresh.. If I use frozen or canned about how many?linebb956 in La Feria loved it
