Ingredients
  • 1 package cream cheese softened (8oz)
  • 3 oz swiss cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1 cup apple, finely chopped
  • 1 cup mixed dried fruits, finely chopped (raisins, dates, apricots, peaches)
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1/3 to 1/2 cup nuts, finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons parsley finely chopped

Directions
  1. Cream cheese and nutmeg.
  2. Toss fruits with lemon juice.
  3. Stir into cheeses and chill to slightly firm.
  4. Shape into a ball.
  5. Combine nuts and parsley.
  6. Roll ball in this mixture.
  7. Store in refrigerator.
  8. Allow to soften to room temp before serving with crackers.
