From chacha 14 years agoIngredients
- 4 to 6 fish fillets shopping list
- Note: I prefer to use a meatier fish like haddock, halibut or cod but you can use any type of fish you like with this recipe. shopping list
- 1/2 tsp. salt shopping list
- 1/2 tsp. pepper shopping list
- 1/4 tsp. onion powder shopping list
- 3/4 cup seasoned bread crumbs or I have also used crushed Cornflakes shopping list
- 4-6 Tbsp. butter, melted shopping list
- 1 tsp. parsley(dried) shopping list
- Note: You can also use other herbs such as thyme or basil. shopping list
- fresh parsley for garnish shopping list
How to make it
- Heat oven to 400 degrees.
- Lightly grease/spray a large shallow baking dish.
- Place fish in melted butter and coat both sides.
- Remove and dredge the fillets in bread crumbs and seasoning mixture.
- Arrange fish fillets on the prepared baking dish.
- Bake the fish fillets for 18 to 20 minutes, or until fish is cooked through. Broil for 2 to 3 minutes until the topping is lightly browned.
- Fish will flake easily with a fork when done.
- Carefully remove the fillets to plates.
- Serve with a salad and your choice of vegetable.
- I like to serve the fish with new potatoes when in season.
