How to make it

  • Combine all the ingredients for sauce.
  • Bring to boil,and boil for 10 minutes(or)until just thickened.
  • Trim,peel onions.
  • Parboil for 6 minutes in salted water,drain.
  • Place drained onions in saucepan,pour the sauce over.
  • Bring to boil,reduce heat,simmer for about 15 minutes,or until onion are soft(but)not mushy.
  • Allow to cool completely,and serve as a cocktail condiment,or serve as a side dish for any meat or poultry.
