Maple N Smoky Chicken Legs Recipe
Chicken coated & baked in a smoky maple sauce

Ingredients
  • 2 med onions; sliced
  • 3 lbs chicken legs
  • 2 tsp liquid smoke
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1/2 cup maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup vinegar
  • 2 tbsp mustard

Directions
  1. Place onions in a greased 9 x 13-inch baking dish.
  2. Arrange chicken in a single layer over onions.
  3. Combine remaining ingredients and pour over chicken, completely coating it.
  4. Bake uncovered at 350F for 1 hour; or until juices run clear.
  5. Basting several times.

I just wanted to let you know that I made this yesterday, and it is great! The only change I made was to use chicken tenders instead of legs. What a wonderful sauce.
