How to make it

  • Cook and stir onions and peppers in butter,until onions are tender.
  • Remove from heat,stir in bread crumbs,parsley,lemon juice,salt,and basil.
  • Rub cavities of fish with salt.
  • Stuff each with about 1/4 cup stuffing.
  • Place the stuffed trout in a greased baking pan.
  • Cook uncovered at 350 degrees for about 35 minutes,or until it flakes easily with a fork.
  • For your green sauce.
  • Place all ingredients in blender and bend on high until smooth.
  • Refrigerate for at least 2 hours for the flavors to get acquainted.
  • Serve along side the whole stuffed trout,may address the platter of fish with cherry tomatoes as will.
