Apple Torte Recipe

How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  • Cream together butter and sugar. Ad egg and beat.
  • Sift together flour,cinnamon,baking powder,baking soda and salt.
  • Beat dry ingredients into butter mixture
  • stir apples into batter,which will be thick and hard to stir.
  • Turn into buttered 9' pie pan and spread smooth.
  • Bake 1 hour,until just brown.
  • This is wonderful with caramel topping drizzled on it while still warm.
  • Can be doubled and done in a 9x13" pan
