Mexico Chiquito Cheese Dip Recipe

	Famina / All my dishes 3 months ago Mexico Chiquito is a landmark restaurant here in Little Rock for over 50 years. This is very close to their famous cheese dip. Ingredients

1 stick of butter

4 tablespoons flour

1 teaspoon paprika

1 teaspoon chili powder

1 teaspoon cumin seeds

1 teaspoon hot pepper sauce

1 teaspoon cayenne pepper

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1 tablespoon ketchup

a dash of salt

2 cups milk

1 pound Kraft American Cheese (the real kind), cut into cubes

Directions

Melt butter in a saucepan. Add flour and stir around until flour loses its raw taste, about 2 minutes.

Add the remaining ingredients including the milk.

Then add the cheese.

Stir until cheese is melted.

Serve with tortilla chips.
