Killer Burger

Got this recipe from food network, and just did some changes to make it a quicker version of the inside out burger. by Guy Fieri. This burger has a combination of flavors that work well together.
Ingredients
- 1/4 Lb bacon, cooked and set aside shopping list
- 2 Lbs ground beef(sirloin,chuck,round,etc..) shopping list
- 3 Tbl of chorizo(no casing) shopping list
- 1/2 Cup minced onion (red or yellow) shopping list
- salt and pepper to taste shopping list
- 8 Slice of cheese(your choice) I like colby jack shopping list
- 4 hamburger buns shopping list
How to make it
- Combine beef,chorizo,salt & pepper,and onion and mix together in a bowl.
- Divide mixture into four large patties or 8 smaller patties.
- grill over medium heat in a oven proof pan(can cook on outside grill, or stove top grill if preferred)
- cook 3-4 minutes on each side.
- place covered pan into a 250 degree oven for 10 minutes.
- Remove from oven and place two slices of cheese along with bacon on top of patties.
- Transfer patties to buns, that you have dressed with all the fixings that you like.)
